HVC ANNOUNCES HOT CAKE
HVC’s Pan Caliente is now available in English.
The company has announced a new regular production line called Hot Cake. It’s a follow-up tothe HVC Pan Caliente, a limited edition release that debuted in 2016. Pan Caliente is Spanish for hot cake. While the names are related, the cigars and blends are not.
The new release uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over binders and fillers from AGANORSA. Specifically, the cigar uses corojo 99 from Jalapa and corojo 98 from Estelí for the binder and then a viso leaves of corojo 2006 maduro as a filler.
Production is handled by the AGANORSA-owned Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. factory in Estelí. For comparison, Pan Caliente was a Nicaraguan puro made in Honduras.
