Espinosa Laranja Reserva Escuro

Espinosa Premium Cigars has released the first extension to its Laranja line, the Laranja Reserva Escuro that uses a dark Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper.

“We teased the Escuro at our annual La Zona Palooza event this past November 2018,” said Erik Espinosa in a press release. “I was just overwhelmed with how well it was received and how the people raved about it. I couldn’t wait for the IPCPR, I had to get it out to our retailers as soon as I could.”

The original Laranja Reserva line debuted in 2014 in the same three sizes as the Escuro and uses a Brazilian-grown wrapper. This new version is designed to be a fuller-bodied, fuller-flavored profile, according to the company.

The word laranja is Portuguese for orange, a nod to the distinct color of the original line’s wrapper leaf, and a color that was used on the bands of the original line.
